  2. Abated • To reduce in amount, degree, or intensity

  3. Altimeter • An instrument for determining elevation, used in aircraft that senses pressure changes accompanying changes in altitude.

  4. Arc • any unbroken part of the circumference of a circle or other curved line

  5. Banked • To tilt an aircraft or a motor vehicle laterally (to the side) when turning

  6. Coma • a state of prolonged unconsciousness, including a lack of response to stimuli

  7. Consuming • to eat or drink up; devour

  8. Depressing • to press down

  9. Frustration • a feeling of dissatisfaction, often accompanied by anxiety or depression, resulting from unfulfilled needs or unresolved problems

  10. Grimacing • a facial expression, often ugly or contorted, that indicates disapproval, pain, etc

  11. Hordes • A large group or crowd; a swarm: a horde of mosquitoes
