2003 - iVisit acquired from Eyematic in a management buyout by Orang Dialameh, Founder/CEO of Eyematic, and Tim Dorcey, CTO of iVisit.
Eyematic attracted $28 mil in funding from DT, TI, SUN, TRW, Omron, Intec. and developed relationships with multiple carriers and handset manufacturers (Verizon, Docomo, KDDI).
Eyematic was restructured into two companies in 2003
(NevenVision) sold to Google in 2006
iVisit & IPPLEX, which continue to pursue converged communications applications.
iVisit launched in 2004 as a pilot service to test distributed media transports for multiparty audio/video communications and to develop targeted value added services.
Our prototype pilot services attracted users…..700,000 registered users, 100+ client server licenses, 20 mil minutes of conf. hosted per month, 1k-2k unique visitors per day, 200-400 downloads per day.
2004-2010…Two NIH Grants to pursue fixed-mobile unified communication solutions for remote assistance of visually impaired and Tele-health applications for home healthcare of elderly. Partnership with VA.
Angel investment in 2007 & 2008:
To launch iVisit fixed-mobile Unified Communication and Collaboration Applications.
Angles are accomplished serial entrepreneurs.
Founder CEO of Price Grabber, Reunion and other accomplished executives.
To spin-off IPPLEX to pursue Tele-health and assistive applications for users with visual, speech and hearing impairments.

iVisit’s SeeStar remote assistance system for visually impaired (NIH SBIR grant)
11.4 mil visually impaired users in the US alone.
Each user would require interaction with multiple remote assistants (family, friends, rehabilitation specialists, etc) who will all be potential mobile subscribers of such data services.
