  1. Overview

  2. Church History • Seeds of faith were planted and are now bearing fruit in the form of 30 acres of property, four municipal buildings, relevant ministries for every age group, a state-of-the-art daycare, weekly attendance of more than 1,000 adults and children, and plans to build one of the largest sanctuaries in the area for worship. • The church started in a garage with 10 people. Shortly after, it transitioned to a hotel building with 50 people weekly. From an elementary school to its own property in October of 1996, the church blossomed. • An educational building was added in 1997 and a daycare in 1999 with a full children's playground but ever growing crowds made it necessary for yet another worship center. • By 2000, two more services were added to accommodate more people hungry for the word of God. In Phase III, the Family Life Center, a new teen building and food and clothing shelter for the local community were completed. • Some eleven years later, Faith Outreach Church continues to thrive as it has from its very inception. The church works hand in hand with three other facets of ministry – Richard B. Peoples Sr. Ministries, F.O.C.L.C., and Kindercare Daycare – each with its own emphasis for reaching thousands of people every year locally, as well as around the world. • The vision for Faith Outreach Christian Life Center continues to flourish under the anointing of God and the leadership of Bishop Peoples.

  5. F-K • Family Interactive "I don't want to get lost in the crowd." "Will I be able to get to make friends and get connected?" "They have so many people, they surely don't need me." These are common concerns and assumptions about getting involved in a large church. The Twelve Tribes have been gathered to assist new and existing members with their concerns. The F.I.M. ministry gives members an opportunity to be a part of smaller groups of believers who love, nurture and serve one another. It's members opportunity to know and be known in more personal ways than is possible through a weekly worship and Word experience. It is a powerful opportunity to be blessed and to be a blessing. • Finance Department - A network of professionals that offers a variety of services to the community, such as biweekly financial workshops, tax return preparation assistance, personal financial counseling, and informative workshops and seminars designed to educate and empower individuals to make wise financial decisions. • Food Ministry - Cater dinners, receptions and banquets for F.O.C.L.C.  • Greeters -Our Greeters are on the front line at FOCLC. In addition, FOCLC donates books, tapes and Bibles for the spiritual and mental edification of prisoners. • Program Coordinator – Poor planning leads to poor results. This team of planners provide assistance to the FOCLC auxiliaries and to their Covenant Partners to ensure that every meeting is done with a spirit of excellence from start to finish. The only result they expect to achieve is the one that will assure that they hear the words “well done thy good and faithful servant.” • Seniors (55 & older) - There is wisdom in a multitude of Counsel. These seasoned warriors of the Gospel gather to share their experiences, to laugh and have fun. There’s nothing old about this group. In fact, they are very young at heart. • School of Ministry – People are destroyed for a lack of knowledge and FOCLC’s School of Ministry is designed to ensure that the Word of God is not left to the hands of an unprepared and unskilled novice. 9. W • Women's Outreach - As sisters in one Body, our mission is to see every woman develop into the fullness of the virtuous woman God intended for her to be as declared in Proverbs 31. • As sisters in one Body, our mission is to see every woman develop into the fullness of the virtuous woman God intended for her to be. Our goals are to manifest the standards of Christ in every way; to develop in the Love of God; to promote oneness and unity with a sense of family and sisterhood; and to represent the image and display the character of Jesus Christ. We intend to achieve these goals by pursuing the following objectives: • To establish small groups for mentoring, encouragement, transparency and accountability • To grow in grace and knowledge through women's ministry Bible Study • To host edifying, fun-filled activities, such as luncheons, teas, and retreats • To enhance our personal relationship with God through monthly fellowships, events and seminars • To encourage women to develop in the character of Christ • To teach women to walk in wholeness through the Word of God — spirit, soul and body

  10. Youth Ministries • Youth 4 Christ (Children's Church) We encourage all members of F.O.C.L.C. to bring their children to church so that they too can receive teachings on the Word of God. Our purpose is to teach the Word of God on a level that children can understand by using object lessons, puppet skits, drama, transparencies, and Bible stories to reinforce the preaching of the Word. • Promotes fun while building character and teaching children 12 years old and younger the fundamental principles of Christianity.

  11. Generation 13-18 (Teen Ministry) • They're not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Because they know that there will one day come a day when God the father will come back for those who have accepted Him as their personal Lord and Savior (Rom 10:9-10). But for those who have not accepted him as their personal Lord and Savior the Father will say unto them..."Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’ (Matt. 7:21-23 NLT)." • So, it's not enough just to say they're a Christian, but they must also walk out the life of a Christian and have a true personal relationship with God.

  12. Youth Ministries • Nursery MinistryProvides Day Care for all children up to 4 years of age, during regular and special services.  • Wee Lambs (birth-23 months) All Services—This isn't babysitting, this is quality time.
