  2. Traffic and Pedestrian SafetyUpcoming Activities • Working to establish new safety advocates for 1) pedestrians (B. MacGowan), 2) bicyclists (S. Greenberg), 3) shuttle bus riders(J. Basore), and 4) vehicle drivers (any volunteers?) • Advocates will help perform safety observations and develop safety awareness information • New Bicycle Safety Email Group – communications to bicyclists via email for now – other media later • Working on new PUB-3000 Traffic and Pedestrian Safety Chapter (consolidation of information in various places now) • Initial draft for review in August • Continue to support construction projects to identify and mitigate traffic and pedestrian issues
