We focus on the five cornerstones of Education, Leadership, Career, Lifestyle and Entrepreneurship. Our mission as a professional membership organization of individuals with MBAs, advanced degrees, and entrepreneurs, is to increase the number as well as the diversity of successful individuals in the business community by providing innovative programs to stimulate their intellectual and economic growth; building partnerships with key stakeholders who help facilitate this growth and increasing awareness and facilitating access to graduate business education programs and career opportunities. Established in 1970, the National Black MBA Association continues to be a leader in fortifying industry with talented minority professionals. In partnership with over 500 of the country's top business organizations, the association has inroads into a wide range of industries as well as the public and private sector. Yet all of NBMBAA's partners have one thing in common: they are all committed to the organization's goals and values. The organization gains its strength from a strong belief in community and a commitment to its development through economic and educational initiatives that support the global community. Since 1976, the Philadelphia Chapter has proudly represented its membership, now more than 250+ members strong from all over the Delaware Valley, representing many industries in both the private and public sectors.
