  11. Getting Started: Installation and Login

  12. Installation • Go to www.readytalk.com • First Time: you may need to load the Java plug-in, if not already installed. This is a one-time download • Check your system requirements: Click on the browser check located under the participant login box.

  13. Java Browser Test Results System already has correct version of Java installed Click link to install the correct version of Java.

  15. Login • Go to www.readytalk.com • Participants login with the unique access code you provide them • Chairperson must enter their unique access code and passcode

  16. Create Meeting Invitations Fill out all the necessary info for participants and click “Next”

  17. Review Your Invitation Choose to send your invitation, add it to your calendar, or edit it after previewing it

  18. 1. Enter the email addresses of the participants you wish to invite OR 2. Upload a CSV file containing the email addresses of the participants you wish to invite OR 3. Use the preview screen to copy and paste into an email client such as Outlook Send Your Invitation

  19. Add to Your Calendar Choose “Open” and then click “Save and Close” in your calendar client

Icons display each users connectivity • Telephone = audio participant • Computer = web participant • Hourglass = in lobby or dialing • Participant arrow dropdown list allows for chairperson to perform various actions: • Disconnect • Chat • Assign as Co-Presenter • Grant Control Participant List

  37. Conference Management Participant Management: • Dial: Allows the chairperson to dial out to participants and join them into the conference • Disconnect: Disconnect selected participants • Play Name: Allows the chairperson to play selected participant name

Chairperson Audio Functions: • Mute All: Mute all participants to block out background noise • Unmute All: Unmute participants • Operator: Dials out to an operator for assistance • Record: Records the web and audio portions of your conference • Listen Only: Places all participants in listen only mode • Continuation: Allows the conference to continue if the chairperson drops out • Lock Audio: Prevents additional participants from joining conference Conference Management    

  39. Conference Management Additional Features: • Phonebook: Allows access to a phone book for easy dialing of participants • Options: Allows the chairperson to change various conference parameters • Reports: Access to recordings

  42. Chat • Allows you to communicate and ask questions through the web interface • The chairperson can chat to co-presenters, a single participant, or the entire conference

  44. Share your entire desktop with participants • Chat is disabled by default • Participants’ displays are maximized • To stop this mode, select another Presentation Mode from the dropdown box, or end your conference Show Desktop Mode

  46. Grant Control • Grant Control of your desktop or applications to another participant • Grant Control from Select Action Dropdown or the Participant Action Arrow.

  47. Appoint a Co-Presenter • A chairperson can appoint a co-presenter to share responsibility • Multiple co-presenters can be appointed by the chairperson

  48. Showing Button • When showing applications, you will notice a “Showing” button on the window. • The “Showing” button allows you to manage your conference from multiple windows.
