  2. Eligibility to Take the CCM Exam • 300 Total Credits • 200 Education Credits • 100 from CMAA education • At least 25 earn at chapter or regional level • 50 Association Activity Credits • See pg 19 of CMAA Professional Development Brochure • 50 Additional Credits

  3. Eligibility to Take the CCM Exam (Join CMAA Before 01/01/08) • Less than a 4-Year Degree or No Degree • 1 CMAA World Conference (4 ed sessions) • Professional membership for minimum 6 years • 6 CMAA/CMI workshops • BMI I, II and III

  4. Eligibility to Take the CCM Exam (Join CMAA Before 01/01/08) • 4-Year Non-Hospitality Degree • 1 CMAA World Conference (4 ed sessions) • Professional membership for minimum 5 years • 4 CMAA/CMI workshops • BMI II and III

  5. Eligibility to Take the CCM Exam (Join CMAA Before 01/01/08) • 4-Year Hospitality Degree • 1 CMAA World Conference (4 ed sessions) • Professional membership for minimum 4 years • 2 CMAA/CMI workshops • BMI III

  6. Eligibility to Take the Exam (Join CMAA After 01/01/08) • All Members • 1 CMAA World Conference (4 ed sessions) • Professional membership status for minimum 6 years • 2 CMAA/CMI workshops • BMI I, II and III and either BMI Golf Management or BMI Food & Beverage Management

New CCM Requirements • CMAA members who joined the Association before 01/01/08 must be able to meet the “old” requirements by World Conference 2014 (six years). • CMAA members who joined the Association after 01/01/08 will be required to meet the new requirements. • After January 2014 exam, all members, regardless of when they joined, will be required to meet the new requirements.

  12. To Pass the Certification Exam • Score of at least 70% overall • Score of at least 50% on each section

  13. Certification Maintenance Requirement • CCM awarded for a period of five years • Must earn at least 120 certification credits during the five year period for maintenance of the CCM • ½ of the 120 credits must be CMAA (CMI/Chapter) Education credits
