  4. PRIORITIES • Access • Progression • Retention • Programme Development

  5. ACCESS • Broaden access base to HE • Optimise individual access opportunity • Develop access possibilities for specific groups

  6. PROGRESSION • Provide many more progression options • Encourage re-skilling and up-skilling • Exploit the Qualifications Framework

  7. RETENTION • Retain learners longer in education • Use FE route an aid to HE retention • Support Post-primary retention initiatives

  8. PROGRAMME DEVELOPMENT • Develop New Modules/Courses • Align FE courses to relevant HE Courses • Review/Evaluate existing Modules/Courses
