  1. Why? Designing a blended course allows the teacher to design their courses with a combination of online and face-to-face (F2F) activities that suit the needs of the learners. A blended design allows the teacher to think more creatively about how to best engage the learner. Technology enhanced learning allows for courses to be offered across the region from any Learn Local no matter how remote. The Gippsland Learn & Connect project will offer access to and training in how to get the best use out of our proposed new region wide online learning platform . An Invitation to Learn Local Teachers across Gippsland Developing technology enhanced programs for Learn Local in Gippsland What? Gippsland Learn & Connect will train you to develop skills that will allow you to offer technology enhanced training at your Learn Local. Gippsland Learn & Connect will facilitate partnering with Learn Local RTO’s and TAFE to deliver courses remotely online. How? By providing free access to an online learning platform such as Moodle, for all participating Learn Local organisations. We will train you in designing blended delivery options with both face- to-face and online support and training. When? The project Launch @ Gippsland Employment Services Training (GEST) 22nd August 10am -3pmOR @Lakes Entrance Neighbourhood House 23rd August 10am -3pm Benefits Two full day face-to-face PD by experienced e-learning practitioners 2. Opportunities to experience fully online PD sessions. Availability of a minimum of two 1:1 training session at your organisation. Support in the development of one blended online learning course in Moodle. Opportunities to participate in action research that will help shape the future of online learning for Learn Locals in Gippsland. • Financial assistance is available for attendance and travel for full day PD sessions.
