  3. Salvation is an invitation to join Christ on the journey of sanctification, which results in mission.

  4. “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” - Hebrews 12:1-2

  5. 2 types of Christians • Carnal/ unfruitful Christian • Spiritual/fruitful Christian

  6. Carnal/unfruitful Christian • Comfortable and complacent • Just want to be fed • Few works • Luke warm

  7. Spiritual/fruitful Christian • Answered “Yes” • Abiding in Christ • Cleansed by the Word

  8. “IF you remain in me and I in you, [THEN] you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do NOTHING.” - John 15:5
