  4. One Operations, One Organization • Projects aren’t identified by funding office • Ministry defines us not our various roles/office • Shared resourcing – staff and financing • Seamless ‘cross border’ movement of staff • Mutuality, shared goals/responsibilities

What have we Achieved so Far? • Focus – CWBT • Leadership – 33 NDs, 5 RLs • Structure – 7 regions, SDOs, EGOLT • Accountability – GNOD, PA, Audits, • Role Clarity – management line, decision rights • Simplicity – 3 yr budget, RWG, Carryforward, • Strategy – alignment, focus, primacy of NO • Performance – PCR, DME

What are we still working on? • Quality assurance thru line management • Capacity building within regions/NO • Succession planning, career pathing • Simplicity – still lots to do • Resource generation – esp grants, foundations, corporate • Advocacy – alignment and focus • Networking – donors, governments etc

  7. How should the role of IPGs evolve? • What changes should be made to ‘IP The Way Forward’ document? • What structure and staffing would work best? • What kind of staff do we need? • How do we shift the culture? • What can GFOs do to support?
