  1. June 2012 Updates: Alma turns 22 months old!

  2. Our flexible bundle of joy is growing VERY quickly!

  3. As she is approaching her second birthday, she has been working on some award winning tantrums.

  4. But most of the time she is a giggly chicken (on the right, tickling herself with a feather) She hasn’t started toilet training officially (as it is too cold) but was enthusiastic to get her own potty.

  5. Alma was sick once this month but this sticky cold kept both of us awake for many nights so I had to go to the doctor eventually for advice. It was a different doctor than our usual one, so Alma started crying when we walked into the non-familiar clinic. The lady in reception ran out and got her a teddy as a gift to calm her down. Alma liked the teddy and also the doctor, who uses a koala hand puppet to treat kids. Eventually she got over the cold and started sleeping again, but my lack of sleep reached some new levels.

  6. Alma LOVES puddles! And she loves food and eating, as you will see in a minute...

  7. Alma was very excited to make her Weet-Bix breakfast by herself

  8. She continues to experiment with fashion: The double bra look (left) Stripy pink outfit (middle) and the frilled-neck lizard Aussie nappy (right)

  9. Alma chose the “Bananas in Pyjamas” PJs and refused to take them off for two days! She also has shoes with flashing lights (bottom)

  10. She also chose the hot pink Bananas jumper and wears it as often as she can (including when she is eating bananas...)

  11. “Bananas in PJs” are certainly her favourite, she even did a “Bananas” collage!

  12. Alma loves making transparent collages. She works very independently.

  13. In our next presentation: More fun learning experiences for Alma!
