Learn how to be a valuable team member at Head Start by offering help, making requests with a smile, and communicating effectively with your colleagues. Working together, we can achieve great things for each child’s development and success in a supportive team environment.

We Are A TEAM!
Being a good team member means lending a helping hand—helping each other up, never putting someone down.
Being a team member means offering help without being asked and asking for help when you need it.
Being a good team member means making requests with a smile, not giving orders. (It’s all in how you say it!)
Team members talk with a team member, not about a team member.
Team members ask the Site Manager if they are unsure of their responsibilities or someone else’s responsibilities.
Together we can do a GREAT job! When we do, the task alone, it is more difficult.
The job you have at Head Start is important. You are a valuable member of our team. Thank you for all you do for each child!
