  12. Social Emotional Behavior A Taft survey was developed and administered. Data has not yet been compiled.

Technology • According to NCLB and the State of Iowa, all 8th graders will take a Technology Proficiency Test • Like other goal areas, everyone is responsible for technical proficiency • CRCSD is in the process of defining Technology Proficiency • CRCSD is in the process of creating a Technology Proficiency Test

  14. PDSA Cycles • All Taft employees will be engaged in the PDSA Cycle process • Current projects in this category are widely varied • There is no central connection for these projects • These projects will be realigned to Taft’s goals

  15. Writing • There is no standardized building-wide assessment in writing that is routinely done. • The district is piloting an assessment this year based on the 6+ Traits of Writing.

Timeline 2005-2006 • December 2005: Leadership Team begins to meet. • January – February 2006: Leadership Team defines the current situation at Taft. • February 13: Taft Staff provide feedback for SIP SMART Goals. • February 23: Leadership Team meets with Jay Marino to write SMART GOALS. • April – May 2006: Taft Staff work on aligning PDSA Cycles to SIP SMART Goals.
