  3. The First Day of Chinese New Year • You can not wash your hair after 11 pm. • Married women could not go back to their mom’s home on that day. • You have to say good things to everyone. • You should not take extra medicine. • You should not break any china, plate or bowls.

  4. The Second day of Chinese New Year • Married daughters should return to their mother’s home.

  5. TheThirddayofChinese New Year I will get married soon! • Chinese Fairy Tale: The mice are holding marriage party on that day.

  6. The Fourth Day of Chinese New Year • Welcome gods. • Prepare Fruits and Flowers to worship ancestors. • Prepare Paper money to burn as offerings.

  7. The Fifth Day of Chinese New Year • Wealth God’s Birthday • Businessmen prepare to work – most markets open on that day

  8. Lantern Festival • Also named Shang Yuan (上元) Festival • It’s the last day of Chinese new year festival • People prepare lanterns • Eat Yuan Shiao (元宵:Dumplings)
