  3. How do you celebrate Chinese New Year? Share with your classmates and teacher.

  4. Do you know all the zodiac animals? Which zodiac animal year were you born in?

  5. Your Project: The Paper Snake Make a paper snake using construction paper of contrasting colours.

  6. What are contrasting colours? They are a pair of colours that make each other look brighter.

  7. What are contrasting colours? They can be found opposite each other on the colour wheel.

  8. Your Project: The Paper Snake Choose two contrasting colours and make a paper snake.

  9. Guidelines Cut 3-cm wide strips of construction paper. 1stcolour: 5 strips, 2ndcolour: 5 strips Loop the construction paper and seal with stapler or glue to form one link. Create the snake chain.

  10. Guidelines Make sure you use contrasting colours, one after the other. Attach the eyelets and tongue.
