Meet Justin Holmes, a 17-year-old senior at McComb High School and dedicated cheerleader. With a passion for cheer that spans six years, Justin also loves to spend time with family and friends, swim, and enjoy the occasional class in Local Cultures and Broadcast Journalism. After high school, he plans to attend Louisiana State University, aiming to balance academics with cheerleading. His aspirations include becoming a physical therapist or a cheerleading coach, hoping to either guide athletes or establish his own all-star cheer program.

  1. Justin Holmes Meaning: Just, Fair Favorite Quote: Every story has an end, but in life every end is just a new beginning.

  2. Introduction • I am seventeen years old and I am a senior at McComb High School. I’m a cheerleader at the school as well as an all-star cheerleader at a gym in Hattiesburg called South Mississippi Elite. I have been cheering for six years and it is a passion in my life. I don’t have very many hobbies because my life is so time-consuming. Some of the hobbies that I do have time for is cheering, swimming, and just spending time with my family and friends. Throughout my years at the high school some of my favorite classes have been Local Cultures and Broadcast Journalism.

  4. Future aspirations • After I finish High School I plan on attending Louisiana State University. I plan to cheer my way through college to help pass the time. I want to either get a degree to be a physical therapist or to become a cheerleading coach/ choreographer. Both of these occupations are my choice and I believe I would be good at both. If I became a cheer coach I would want to have my own all-star program and gym.
