Our NGO, registered in 2003, focuses on vocational training, SHG promotion, and empowering farmers through clubs in North Tripura. We offer various training programs and support initiatives in handloom, handicrafts, fisheries, and cultural events like Mridanga Utsav. Our flagship program, Farmers' Club, follows NABARD guidelines and fosters better coordination among clubs. We are dedicated to forming and credit-linking SHGs, utilizing handloom expertise for income generation, and proposing projects to revive traditional handloom activities. Self Help Promoting Institution • Submitted a proposal to NABARD for formation and credit linkage of 200 SHGs at Kalachara and Kadamtala Block. • Experience of forming 513 SHGs. • Utilize expertise in Handloom sector for the purpose of income generation activity (IGA) of SHG members.
Handloom Activity • Submitted a proposal to NABARD on Manipuri Handloom Activity under Rural Non-farm Sector. • It is a Project based proposal. • With loan form NABARD the sector can be revived. • The tradition can be maintained. • Scope for income generation, thereby restrict the import from Manipur and Mizoram.
