Import of orientation data 1) Obtain source images • UltraCam images with metadata • JPEG fileswithEXIF structure • 2) Convert the imagery to MS-TIFF • Metadata is extracted into separate XML files • 3) Load the converted images into PHOTOMOD project • MS-TIFFfiles with pyramid • XMLfiles with metadata 4) Use metadata information • for automatic camera file creation and interior orientation • for automatic block splitting into strips and block layout creation
