  2. General Information • Male pattern baldness (MPB) is a form of adrogenetic alopecia • Adrogenetic alopecia is a common form of hair loss • It can occur in male and female humans • MPB is the most common type of hairloss in men

  5. Prevention • Hair loss and male pattern baldness has no cure • There are few ways to prevent hair loss and male pattern baldness. Rogaine and Propecia do help grow hair back to some extent, but they mainly help with hair loss prevention

  6. Additional Information • Male pattern baldness is the cause of more then 95% of all hair loss in men. • 25% of men who have MPB begin to show symptoms before the age of 21. • There are many different options for the prevention of hair loss, but most of them are ineffective
