  2. They would make freshman read the book because they need to beware of issues outside of the United States and realize that things like that are actually happening all over the world.

  3. Honor killings, fistulas, abandonment with pregnancies, rape, addiction to drugs, physical and verbal abuse, lack of health care and education; some aren’t sent because of sexual harassment from teachers, no rights (unequal treatment; gender equality)

  4. Akkuyadav terrorized ashobhagat’s neighborhood and cut off her breasts and in retaliation, she chopped off his genitals. • A girl named Neth was rescued from a brothel and she was addicted to meth so she returned to the brothel due to her strong addiction to the drugs.

  5. We can help by sponsoring a girl or women through plan international, American Jewish world service or World Vision. You can also join the care action network which assists you in speaking out and educating policy makers and underscoring that the public wants action against poverty and injustice.

  7. These are a few of the girls and their babies from the prostitute ministry that we visited in Ecuador. The girls are rescued or offered a better alternative when found pregnant on the streets. The program helps pay for their apartments and living quarters now so that they can have a better life and recovery with their babies. They make jewelry and other things (like place-mats, wall hangings, etc) and get to keep the money that they make from their sales. The money that they earn from their work and jewelry sales helps give them a foundation for a turned around life.
