  6. For our school logo, symbol or character we need to consider: • What special features the school has e.g. heritage trees, or features in our surrounding community • How to link our symbols into what we already have established in our school e.g. Allenton School vision, values, dispositions and inquiry GROWTH model. • To choose a symbol or character that the children will easily relate to. • That we will need to launch this idea to the community. • That what we choose as our symbol or character will be immersed into Allenton School everyday life. E.g. banners, certificates, posters in classrooms, newsletters etc • That the children should have a say in the choice of our symbol, logo, or character. What are their ideas?
