  2. Children’s Crusade • Around the time of 1212, almost 15,000 children were convinced that they could defeat the Muslims if they went to Jerusalem.

  3. Medieval Period • Brutal & violent time • They contributed to the fate of the prisoners • In each castle they had multiple torcher chambers • The point of torcher to them was getting the accomplices names and to obtain testimonies • They also wanted to figure out additional information about a certain crime

  4. Methods of Torture • Beating • Ripping teeth • Blinding • Choking • Boiling • Cutting • & so much more torture which can be discovered at http://www.middle-ages.org.uk/middle-ages-torture.htm

  5. The Doomsday Book (a.k.a. Domesday Book) • Imposed relevant taxes • Enabled William the Conqueror • Had to swore allegiance to him and he later made it a requirement • Ordered a Norman survey of all the lands
