Thank you for coming out to visit your child’s school and his teachers. • I am Ms. Kathy Collier. • I have been teaching science at BMS for 10 years. • I have three 6th grade science classes and three 7th grade science classes this year. • Each class is 45 minutes in duration. This will be a new experience for myself and the student’s. • I have high expectations for your child to not only succeed in science but to also acquire a respect for it even if it isn’t their favorite subject. • It is best to email me first if you have anything you need to discuss. kcollier@tipton-county.com (We can set up a time to call or meet after the initial contact.)

  4. Homework • Study vocabulary words • Review Notes • Finish assignments that were not completed in class • Study for Tests

  5. Expectations • I expect every student to come to class ready to learn. • I expect them to have the appropriate materials for class every day. • Pencil, Science Notebook/Folder with paper, and Textbook. • I expect each student to be respectful of others. • I expect them to clean up after themselves and keep up with their own materials.
