  4. Implementation – delivery spaces • Not use exiting delivery spaces –special delivery spaces for the pilot • Previous registration of trucks to take part in the pilot • Different kind of areas are considered: historic part, City centre, suburbs

  5. Implementation – delivery spaces • The system used in Bilbao is called Urban Merchandising Distribution Management (UMDM) and belongs to GERTEK: • Long booking – for a fix period of time • Real-time booking – At that time

Implementation requirements • Specify exact delivery spaces • Specify working procedure to unify • Delivery with fix routes • parcel delivery with dynamic routes • Method to control unwanted vehicles • Card fix to a company (typo of truck) not to a particular truck (plate nr.) • The legal framework – legislation • Looking for more fleet operators for three services
