  2. The Comprehensive Large Array-data Stewardship System (CLASS) archives and distributes NOAA’s environmental data and derived data products.

  3. Duplicate CLASS sites at Suitland, MD and Asheville, NC preserve and distribute: • POES/DMSP • GOES • Sea Surface Temperature • Aerosol Optical Thickness • Ocean Color • Pathfinder

  4. Data Archiving • Robotic storage of data and ancillary files • On-line inventory catalog • Data preservation services • Metadata collection

  5. Data Access • Catalog search • Browse imagery/data visualization • Immediate access to derived product data • On-line ordering and delivery • Subscription services • Bulk data distribution

  6. Access CLASS data at http://www.class.noaa.gov

  7. Click here to register

  8. Enter required fields and Click the Register button

  9. Easy access to Help Pages

  11. Returning users log on via Login link

  12. Enter your CLASS user name and password

  13. Easy access to update your User Profile

  14. Edit Profile and push Update button to save

  15. To search the archive, choose a product from the pull-down list and select GO

  16. Product information, FGDC compliant metadata, and links to documentation Establish search criteria, such as, data type, temporal range, and geographic region, then push the Search button Or push here to Search by Dataset Name

  17. Enter partial or full dataset name and push the Search button.

  22. Check to add to your shopping cart Data set detailed results Navigate to next detailed results

  34. Product information and links to documentation are available on Search pages Establish search criteria, such as, data type, temporal range, and geographic region, then push the Search button

  39. Search criteria are saved to disk and can be uploaded
