    2. Primary Purpose To clarify student problems and concerns through an interactive, collaborative process.

    3. To develop intervention strategies which address student needs based on student strengths.

    4. To coordinate human and material resources through the development of a team action plan which ensures student success in academic, non-academic, and extra-curricular activities.

    5. To establish documentation and accountability of attempts to modify the general education curriculum.

    6. Which Students Do I Refer? Meeting grade level standards? Meeting age appropriate milestones in language, social, and behavioral development?

    7. SST Referral Process Identify the concern--attendance, academic, behavior, health or social development Discuss your concern with parents Start documentation of concern and strategies used to address Use interventions consistently over 4 to 6 weeks, record the results. Complete referral forms and return to Joan Fischer Referral is logged and meeting date is scheduled

    8. Who Attends A Meeting? Principal / AP-EIS Teacher(s) Parents(s) Resource Specialist Teacher School Psychologist Other staff who might be present School Nurse School Resource personnel Speech and Language Specialist
