SPONSORSHIP FOR ALOFOS PROGRAMMES AND ACTIVITIES(OCT 2012- DEC 2013) SOLAR ENERGY PROJECT Alofos Science and Technology Foundation brings innovation and ideas to the growth and success of science in the country with the fabrication of Solar Energy Panels collaborating with African University of Science and Technology - N2m • Solar Energy Panels • SCIENCE COMPETITION • It has become a tradition at Alofos Science Technology Foundation to organize annual Interschool science competition in project & design to encourage and support students towards their pursuit for science as a career and project them as inventors - N 2.5m Commissioner for Lagos State Mrs. Olayinka Oladunjoye inspects projects carried out by the students during the 1st Alofos Science Competition in collaboration with Lagos State

ANNUAL LECTURES/DEMONSTRATIONS FOR STUDENTS • We conduct annual lectures to bring out those salient issues that can attract the youths to study Science & Technology - N2m • Cross section of Students at the lecture hall on Alternative Energy during Alofos Energy Expo. • Workshops & Hands on Training • We work in partnership with Arc Lights (LEGO education) to train students on how to build robots. More workshops will be conducted from time to time. These are designed to introduce learning as fun. N 1m • Students receiving training on lego robotics at Alofos office. • Online Science Club • Alofos helps to educate students online using online quiz and science trivia and give answers to their questions. It also gives members the opportunity to win prizes and network with one another. N 500,000.00 • Students browse online for the science quiz and trivia.

Adoption of Girls’ school • we adopted New Era Girls Secondary School to encourage girls in the area of Science & technology , provide Science kits as well as materials for teaching Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Maths. N1.5 m • Outreaches • Alofos intends to carry out -reach activities that will help attract those schools and students in the sub - urban areas to science and technology using vans to carry out demonstrations in schools. N5m l • Science Centre and Planetarium • Alofos intends to establish a Science Centre which provides knowledge and facilitates familiarity with science and technology equipment including establishment of a planetarium and Astronomy observatory -- N 25m • Planetarium • Running Cost • Office space, Equipment and personnel as well as stipends for volunteers and communication – N3M
