The 1st antennae with setae (left) and caudal rami (right) of Tropocyclops prasinus. The 1st antennae usually with 11 segments, sometimes 9-10. Caudal rami appear to be narrow, about three times as long as broad, and possess two long setae. Lateral setae on caudal rami very small. The 1st antennae have large setae that extends outward (like cat whiskers), the first segment is decurved.
