Inner Barrel Upgrade Project Progress Update

Yesterday, we checked our barrel design, updated the website with documentation, tweaked optics equations, and fleshed out backup plans. Today, we progress by physically attaching parts, assembling the potentiometer, revising the design, capturing images, and calibrating magnification equations.

  1. Yesterday… Loosely checked our barrel design. Updated the website with documentation. Tweaked some of our optics equations. Fleshed out some back up plans. • Today we get our inner barrel part! • physically attach everything loosely • figure out how to put our potentiometer in • revise our design(?) • Hopefully, we’ll be able to capture some images. • take data to calibrate our magnification equations
