  2. Easter is a Christian festival and holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day after his crucifixion at Calvary as described in the New Testament.

  3. Eggs Easter Egg - general, common name of eggs (usually chicken, but the goose or duck) decorated with various techniques.

  4. Easter Palm Easter Palm - or replacing it, willow branch - a traditional symbol of Palm Sunday. To commemorate the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem is celebrated by Christians, Palm Sunday, which the Catholic Church related to the habit of holy palms, known in Poland since the Middle Ages.

  5. Easter lamb Easter lamb is a symbol of JesusRisen, but alsohumility andgentleness.

  6. Easter basket Easter basket - the name of food (mainly meat, eggs, horseradish, bread, etc.).Hallowedon Holy Saturday in the Polish Catholic Churches.

  7. Mazurek Mazurek - traditional sweet cake Polish cuisine.

  8. Symbols The egg is a symbol of life, the germ of the universe, the egg is a resurrection. The hare and the egg - Symbolof fertility and rebirth is also why the symbol of the resurrection. Bread is plenty and is a basic food necessary for life. Standing Easter lamb on the table reminds us that Christ has redeemed our sins and that we are invited to the feast.
