Talent • Anchors (2-4 people, groups of 2) • Responsible to accurately deliver news as written by scriptwriters • Could also include reporters to supplement the news stories.
Production Room • Floor manager (1) • Manages the production room • Cues the talent • Camera Operator (1) • Sets the technical aspects of the camera. • Frames each shot and ensures the shot is in focus and steady • Lighter job now that we use Chroma key (green screen) technology.
Control Room • Director • Manages the entire crew • Controls the timing of the show • Technical Director • Controls all technical aspects of the broadcast including: Recording, camera switching, video playback, transitions, etc. • Teleprompter Operator • Works with the talent to feed
Control Room • Graphic Designers(2) • Provides graphic design and controls graphic display during show • Audio Engineer • Monitors and controls levels of the microphones and music playback • Music Playback Engineer • Chooses and cues music at the end of show
Newsroom/PreProduction • Scriptwriters • Writes daily scripts for shows • News Director(s) • Chooses and assigns news stories for DruryLive and B-Rolls • On the Scene Reporters • Provides on-air reported for DruryLive - sometimes live, sometimes pre-taped.
