Information on Persons Affected by Leprosyand their dependants residing in Leprosy Colonies as on the financial year 2014-15 (Modified on : 20.02.2015) No. of Leprosy Colonies = 8 (Eight). No. of PAL residing = 49 and total no. of inhabitants =130.
ACCREDITED SOCIAL HEALTH ACTIVIST (ASHA) INVOLVEMENT IN NLEP, ASSAM. Total no. of ASHAs in position as on March, 2015 =30,619 nos. Total ASHAs sensitized under NLEP in 2014-15 & 2015-16 (up to Sept, 2015) = 1683 nos. Leprosy cases detected by ASHA in 2014-15 = 118 nos. Leprosy cases detected by ASHA in 2015-16 (up to Sept, 2015) = 97 nos. No. of ASHAs paid incentive on confirmation of diagnosis / completion of treatment of the Leprosy disease in 2014-15 = 156 nos. & in 2015-16 (up to Sept, 2015)= 45 nos. Incentives paid to ASHAs on confirmation of diagnosis / completion of treatment of the Leprosy disease in 2014-15 = Rs. 78,000/-
