  2. Tuesday – October 2, 2012 AGENDA: Entry Task . . . Write a short paragraph about a “most/est moment” “Eleven” Reading Analysis Score and Discuss Read “Oranges” Turn in “MY NAME” Papers TODAY!!!

  3. “Eleven” Analysis As a group of 3, discuss and answer the following questions in complete sentences using text support. EVERYONE WRITES!! • Discuss your understanding of the “coming of age” moment for Rachel then in your written response, explain it in detail and what the reader is supposed to learn from it. Use a piece of the text to explain your thinking! • In paragraphs 12-14, Cisneros uses “interior monologue” to express Rachel’s feelings. Explain why “interior monologue” is a powerful choice in creating a 1st person narrative. Use a piece of the text to explain your thinking! • Explain how Cisneros’s use of syntax helps establish the speaker’s “childlike” voice. Use 3 different forms of syntax to support your thinking. One MUST be HYPERBOLE!

  13. Friday – October 7, 2011 AGENDA: Entry Task . . . (10 Min) Finish “Most Moment” (in TW section) (add 5 diction, 2 imagery and 3 syntax) Read “Always Running” and complete worksheet! Answer questions thoroughly with TEXT SUPPORT!!!
