  5. 4) Cope – to manage difficulties The young lady has had to cope with a lot of stress lately.

  8. 7) Impede – to get in the way of Don’t let others impede your learning!

  9. 8) Inevitable – bound to happen; unavoidable If you don’t do your homework, it is inevitable that you will get a bad grade!

  16. 15) Throng – large number of people gathered; crowd There was a throng waiting to go into the concert.
