What might pantomime mean? How does pantomime mean ‘all or every’? 3. What does a carnivore eat? What does an herbivore eat? What is an omnivore? How does omnivore mean ‘all or every’?

  3. Divide and Conquer Tips 1. Pan(t) and omni are always at the beginning of a word. 2. They are always followed by a second base. 3. Begin by figuring out the meaning of the second base. Think of related words you know (carnivore, herbivore). 4. Add the ‘all’ or ‘every’ meaning to meaning of the second base. omnivore omni = ‘all, every’/ vor = ‘eat’ An omnivore ‘eats’ ‘everything’.
