    3. Human Relations • Development of good human relations between groups • Provide information to help one group understand others

    4. Single-Group Studies • Focuses on one group for study • Promotes understanding for those of other groups • Promotes pride for those of same group

    5. Multicultural Education • Promotes strength and values of different cultural groups • Promotes human rights and social justice • Promotes respect for diversity • Promotes alternate life choices • Promotes equity among social groups

    6. Multicultural and Social Reconstruction • Promotes understanding of social structures of power • Encourages social action for changing inequalities
