  2. GENEL • Fellenius yönteminden hareketle geliştirilmiş • bir yöntemdir. • Killi zeminlerde, Efektif gerilme analizi yapılarak • Uygulanır. • Dolgular,Aşırı konslide olmuş killer,Hizmet süresi çok uzun şevlerin analizinde iyi sonuçlar vermektedir.

  3. TEMEL VARSAYIMLARI • Seçilen dilim sayısı n>5 olmalıdır. • Dilim yönteminde hesaplanan güvenlik sayısı genellikle güvenli taraftadır. Gk değeri diğer yöntemlerden hesaplanan Gk değerlerinden daha küçüktür. • Eğer boşluk basınç oranı ’ru’ yüksek ve kayma yarıçapı ‘R’ kısa ise anaiz hata içerebilir.Bu durularda Bishop yöntemi kullanılmalıdır.

  4. DİĞER YÖNTEMLERDEN FARKLILIKLARI • Efektif gerilme analizi yapılır. • Killerde ve aşırı konsolide killerde kullanılır. • Homojen şev kütleleri için geçerlidir. (Whitlow,1995)
