  2. Class Expectations • Be on time! • Bring your stuff! • Behave like an adult! • Follow dress code

  3. No undergarments showing. • Pants worn around waist (or at least not around the knees!) Practice dressing for work, not play. Be professional! Dress Code Biggies

  4. Recommended supplies • 3-ring binder and loose-leaf paper. • Mechanical pencils and a large eraser. • 6 inch ruler • Non-graphing calculator such as TI-30XS MultiView

  5. Algebra 2 • High expectations • Lots of work • Will stretch your abilities Don’t be too proud to ask for help!! After-school help available on Mondays and Wednesdays, with occasional Thursdays.

  8. Assignments • Posted online and in room. • Marked out of 5 possible points. • Check with Teacher’s book or back of student book.

  9. Assignments, cont’d • May be asked to redo. • May be turned in as soon as completed (returned within a day or two). • Absolutely due by Test day. • NO LATE WORK ACCEPTED

  10. Quizzes & Tests • Quizzes may be scheduled or may be “pop”. • Tests will always be scheduled. • Tests may be retaken, once, with 70% being the max new score allowed.

  11. Keep in mind… • Math builds on what came before - you must keep up with the work to succeed. • Homework is CRITICAL! • Absences should be minimized. • Unexcused absences result in 0 points for that day’s work (missed assessments count ½ credit).
