Scholarships were introduced to attract the talented youngsters.

1982 1983 tertiary s chools started it departments
1982-1983, Tertiary Schools started IT Departments

Tertiary schools introduced new IT diploma & degree courses.

and not forgetting the working professionals

Continual IT education for working adults & course for mid-career switch.

1998 singapore one the national b roadband programme was launched

Government gave S$200M. Not for building a network, but to subsidisebroadband subscription.
