During the week of October 24th, several events are being planned on the Sac State campus on topics of food education and food in schools, hunger in the US, the obesity epidemic, sustainable agriculture, and what to eat on campus. • We will also host food demonstrations and tastings and a keynote lecture by author Anna Lappé. • These events are partnerships with community groups, local experts, and government official, and are open and free for everyone to attend. All events on campus are open and free to all of the campus community and the public!
