Gleckler and Bob Weller • Begin by evaluating monthly means for all of 2005 • An unprecedented year for IMET buoys ‘in-the-water’ • Commitments: Gleckler, Weller and others will make the NWP comparisons with buoys and other products If • Requirements: Participating NWP centres adhere to data standards established for the IPCC AR4

  4. IMET buoys in the water through 2005 Deployed by Weller, Plueddemann, Lukas and Cronin: • North of Oahu (22 N, 158W) • Chilean Stratus (20S, 85W ) • North Atlantic Trade wind site (15N, 51W) • Kuroshio Extension (32.3N, 144.5E)
