  3. conclusion Recently, our group has made a research about the factors that affect college students looking for work. During the research, respondents consist of grade 1 to grade 3 college students from SCNU and JNU. According to the results, we found that students mostly concentrated on salary, incentive policy and social benefits.

  4. We divided the respondents into city students and village students. Village students can receive salary for 2000 - 3000, but city students for more than 3000. Students from city demand to higher wage. It is interesting that about 80% boys plan to receive higher salary than girls. Compared with city students, village students prefer to work in big cities such as Pearl River Delta, rather than come back home. The economic developments of their hometown affect village students to decide whether to stay to work.

  5. When looking for a job, students value promotion of work mostly and social benefits secondly. About 30% students think that jobs are related a little to their major. 50% students think that It is not a big deal if jobs are totally irrelevant to their major. It may conclude that student don’t matter a lot that current work doesn’t fit the college major. When asked for the company’s most incentive means, over 90% girls choose dividends, commission and performance bonus. And all boys choose stock option. It seems that girls love the existing reward more than the intangible value. Boys both from city and from village want to own company’s stock option. It shows that boys have great plans and hopes in their

  6. company’s future development. On the other side girls prefer to take a paid vacation to motive them after hard work. Most of the students hope to through dividends as a reward to motivate themselves in positions of progress. But it’s a wonder that seldom students concern about insurance or pension plans. END
