  3. Bay Path Media Center • Hours of Operation: • Before school • During lunch time provided there isn’t a class in Media • After school till 3:30 must stay the entire time and have work.

  4. Bay Path Media Center • ID POLICY • All Students are required to have an ID in the school • You need an ID to: 1. Enter the Media Center 2. Purchase items from the break room 3. Enter the General Marketing Store 4. Receive a pass to go anywhere.

  5. Bay Path Media Center • ID POLICY Cont’d • If you lose your ID …… • Sign up in the Media Center for a replacement. ( At the beginning of the Day) ID’s will be printed by lunchtime. • Reprint $1.50 • New Picture $2.50

  6. Bay Path Media Center • INTERNET POLICY • All students are required to sign an Internet Use Policy and Photo release form Freshmen Year. • The Policy is based on federal guidelines that require the use of filtering in schools • The Children’s Internet Protection Act

  7. Internet Policy cont’d The following are NOT allowed : 1. Music sites of any type ( NO Downloads) 2. No GAME sites that depict the use of guns, violence, killing, or harm another Bay Path Media Center

  8. Internet Policy cont’d 3. No Downloads of music videos, movie trailers, or videos of any type. i.e. U-tube 4. No chatting, blogging, personal email, my space and similar sites….. Bay Path Media Center

  9. PRINTERS The Media Center has 3 Printers for student use. Media Center 4000 (B&W) Media Center 4250 (B& W) Media Center 3800 (Color) Bay Path Media Center

  10. Bay Path Media Center • PRINTERS Cont’d • PLEASE check to see which printer your computer is set to. • The default printer is the 4250 • ONLY PRINT ONCE….. • If the bell rings print jobs will be saved at the main desk.

  11. Bay Path Media Center • TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE • Help and assistance is available for all student projects.

  12. Bay Path Media Center • PORTFOLIO’S Each student at Bay Path completes a portfolio . There are digital and video cameras as well as a scanner available for all.
