  2. Process Of 80G & 12A Registration For NGO NGOs are designed for welfare and are operational for providing service to the needy. In such case of mass, welfare the budget becomes a major hindrance, the government on the other hand provide many facilities and providers to promote and uplift NGOs in India.  80G & 12A Registration are two such facilities provided to NGOs. So, let us gather some more information on how they can help you in the process of NGO registration. As we know that NGOs can apply to avail the benefit of Tax Exemption by following certain rules and regulations. However, there was no such exemption from Tax was provided to the donor this resulted in many financial crises earlier.   5. 80G Certification: The80G registration is offered to an NGO, a charitable trust, or a section 8 company under the Income Tax Department of India. This certificate aims to promote and encourage doners to donate freely and participate in the purpose of the Organization. As a part of the benefit 80G registration provide a 50% deduction in the Income Tax payable amount of the doner. Simply by providing the payment receipt provided by the NGO the doner can avail of this facility.

  6. 80G Certification: • The 80G registration process is mentioned below for your reference: • The application has to be submitted to the Income Tax (Exception) Commissioner of the area. • A form along with required documents is to be submitted for inspection and verification. • After the verification is done and the donation is confirmed by the NGO the 80G certificate is awarded to the doner. • You will need a 10G form, registration certificate, and MoA for section 8 companies • NOC from the owner of the property • PAN card, Water bill, Electricity bill, and house tax receipt of the NGO  • Book of account of past 3 years and Deed of Verification: Original RC, MoA, or Trust Deed.

The 12A registrationcomes with lifetime validity.
