Alterations in Gene Expression in Treated Fish: Insights from 3-Methylcholanthrene Study

This study investigates the changes in gene expression in fish treated with 3-Methylcholanthrene (3-MC) following an IP injection of 25 mg/kg. We observed a 10-fold increase and decrease in gene expression levels at 1-day, analyzed by applying the Benjamini & Hochberg multiple testing correction (P < 0.05). Using scatter plots, we identified specific genes and pathways altered in the treated groups compared to controls, highlighting significant 2-fold induction at day 1. The findings could provide insights into the molecular mechanisms of chemical exposure.
