  6. PageSkin™ PageSkin™ is an interactive online display ad format that wraps around the entire webpage on Channel5 and The Gadget Show. This dynamic and high-impact format dominates the web page without disrupting the user experience. With scrolling sides to keep the advertiser’s message in the user’s eye line as they scroll the page this format offers a viable alternative to traditional static reskins. PageSkin Plus™ allows advertisers to display a larger branding message at the top of the page with the ability to embed video or interactive content within the skin. PageSkin™ is compatible with both traditional desktop/laptop web-browsers and tablet devices. The majority of PageSkin™ ads will be built by the PageSkin™ Media Design team.   7. ClickTAG for Flash (swf) creatives How to assign a clickTAG for Flash v7-10 using ActionScript 2.0 A clickTAG is a parameter used in Flash banner ads. The parameter is a variable that defines the destination URL. The clickTAG enables the ad server to gain metrics such as the amount of clicks and impressions enabling advertisers to evaluate how effective the ad campaign has been To properly track clicks with a flash ad, the original source file (.fla) must be prepared to receive click-through parameters. Destination URLs must not be hardcoded into the ad as this will prevent click tracking. The code below will allow the adserver to dynamically assign a destination URL to the ad: on (release){   getURL (_root.clickTAG, "_blank");  } Edit the .fla file If the whole file is meant to be clickable, a transparent button should be placed on the top layer of the SWF. A clickable flash object such as a button or “hitarea” in the flash movie clip will require some actionscript attached to it. Associate the on (release) event with that object. Place the clickTAG actionscript (listed above) as the instructions for the “on(release)” event. Make sure to check off the "Expression" checkbox for the URL field that is the variable for the getURL actionscript function.
