Exploring 18th & 19th Century British Women Writers and the Lowell Offering

Dr. Julie Nash is an Associate Professor of English with a keen interest in 18th and 19th-century British women writers, literature about servants, and the literary impact of the Industrial Revolution. She is currently studying "The Lowell Offering," a journal created by Lowell’s “Mill Girls” that aimed to educate and entertain. Her research also includes significant works on Anne Brontë, Maria Edgeworth, and Elizabeth Gaskell, as well as articles on the Restoration writer Aphra Behn.
