  3. The Dream is The Picture of God’s Purpose

  4. “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having SEEN THEM afar off were ASSURED OF THEM, EMBRACED THEM and CONFESSED that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth“ Heb 11:13

  5. How did they do it?

  6. 1.They Saw the Promises • Stare = FOCUS

  7. 2. They were Assured • Persuaded- to convince (by argument) • Promise is the divine assurance of good.

  8. 3. They Embraced Them • Welcomed them

  9. 4. They Confessed Them. • (to say the same word)

  10. "I have made you a father of many nations") in the presence of Him whom he believed-- God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, " Romans 4:17
