  20. Tractor Review unit 67600 With 99,427 • January 17, 2017 - 14507 Frontier Rd Omaha, NE 68138 Building B • Standard 6X4 Tractor With Steer and drive axles equipped with MAXXUS brakes • One Werner Freightliner tractor with factory installed WABCO MAXXUS calipers was evaluated. Drive axles were equipped with pad and rotor shields. Steer axles were not equipped with pad or rotor shields. • The unit evaluated is a line-haul vehicle running highway routes. It is laden with various trailer and weight combinations at any given time. • All pads removed were in good condition with no signs of cracks, missing material, heat checks or evidence of high temperature or severe braking events. • No major anomalies were found with any WABCO brakes inspected. Boots, seals, caliper slides, adjuster assemblies were all in good condition.

  21. MAXXUS PAD WEAR Projections for UNIT 67600 *Calculated lining life based upon current measurements and initial default pad measurement of 29.5mm. This can vary from pad to pad from the factory +/- 0.5mm

  22. Tractor Review unit 67598 With 404,683 • August 23, 2018 - Springfield Ohio • Standard 6X4 Tractor With Steer and drive axles equipped with MAXXUS brakes • All pads removed were in good condition with no signs of cracks, missing material, heat checks or evidence of high temperature or severe braking events. • All rotors appeared to be wearing evenly and also showed no signs of high temperature events or cracking. • Rotors were measured using a digital slide caliper to measure 2 spots on each rotor at 0 and 90 degrees. • No major anomalies were found with any WABCO brake calipers inspected. Boots, seals, caliper slides, pad abutments, and de-adjuster nuts were all in good condition with the following exceptions

  23. MAXXUS PAD WEAR Projections for UNIT 67598 *Calculated lining life based upon current measurements and initial default pad measurement of 29.5mm. This can vary from pad to pad from the factory +/- 0.5mm
